It seems only fitting that my first post is about the guy who taught me a lot of what I know. Before I met this guy, I was never really into photography; I mean, I'd take quick photos of the sunset with my phone and of course selfies, but I never got into all that lighting and shutter speed stuff. Until this guy taught me how. He was always taking pictures and finally, one day he sat down and taught me how to use the camera on settings other than auto. He taught me all about exposure and contrast and shutter speed and iso...we spent a whole evening just playing around with our cameras and by the time the day was over, I was determined to start taking photos. Now 5 years later, it's still a hobby of mine.
