As the term goes on I find more and more things I love about Oregon State. There are so many amazing aspects to it that I can't keep it to myself and I just have to make a new category about "reasons why" I love being at Oregon State. They won't be in any particular order, just as I find them.
So here's reason 1: this is the Kelley Engineering Center. It's a 153,000 square-foot building that holds a gold LEED (leadership in energy and environmental design) certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. Inside the building is a sky bridge, lots of natural light, a computer lab, several conference rooms, a coffee shop, and tons of comfy couches and chairs. I've spent so much time here in the last 7 weeks whether it's reading a book, doing engineering homework, printing papers, or just grabbing a snack between classes. Kelley Engineering Center is my home away from home away from home (OSU is my home away from home) and the building is just purely amazing!
